Need Advice: What do i buy ?
I just picked up a new Springfield Armory XD .45 Acp, 5 inch Tactical. The question is, what accessory should I buy first? I have some money put aside but i have no idea what to get first. Any help or advice you all can give would be appreciated.

I would buy a big bright flashlight that mounts on the accessory rail so you can see stuff while sneaking around in the dark. 0 -

It's an XD. You don't need a cleaning kit. Fill the sink with hot soapy water: dunk, swish, rinse, shake, shoot![;)]0 -

...Tactical holster? Tactical "blind 'em" light? Tactical night vision scope? Tactical lazer? Tactical cleaning kit? Tactical whiz-bang?...probably no end to nifty very tactical incumbrances available for a tactical hand gun...oh, don't forget a tactical ninja outfit...I find the black just stunning... [;)]

as far as I can see the word tacticle appers 10 times in this post, nine are from colt.
the guys asking for advice not ridicule. maybe you two are friends and im out of line!
but i have to thnk, there are allot of fellow gun owners out there that are just looking for help and
or advice.
I think a hi five on the purchas of a gun is more in order than a tactical assfingering0 -

I spend upwards of 2k a month on ammo, but I shoot allot of diffrent stuff.
For just one .45 start out with 50 rounds a week maybe.
what every you can afford, if less so be it if more do it!
If I only had one gun and it was a xd 45 Id shoot till it melted down.0 -

DIVEBOMB, thank you for all your help! i think i need to find a place that sells surplus, or just buy alot next time i go to the gun store[;)]. I have two firearms, a Mosberg500 and the XD. but i am not like you, i cant shoot that often due to the fact that i live in liberal ass CA![:(] but i do go to the range at least 3-4 times a month, i wish it was more![V]

i'm still loyal to the 1911, but i realize glock is a great gun, and since he purchased a xd which is also polymer, and an attempt by springfield to take some of the market of polymer sales, why not own the original when his xd malfunctions0
