Good Day at IDPA

Yesterday was a good day at the shoot...got invited to go shoot a full-auto M16 with a 7inch upper (is gonna be fun!)...I have one today at 1:00 also so I think im gonna go buy some more ammo...Im off to the range!

    Enjoy. I'll be in the basement working up a load for my 25 WSSM. Fun but, not as much as shooting!

    I'm sure my score SUCKED for the IDPA match yesterday, but I was out shooting with friends, so it was a GOOD day. [:D]

    the locals here have taken all the fun out of it, the politics are unreal, if i elaborated you would think i'm sheeting you, i can still claim master ssp division tittle for the midwest regional until the end of the month, i don't think i will defend my tittle this year, i passed on two state matches this year i won in 05, and 06

    when you start winning every match the bastages put a target on your back, nothing but a bunch of sore losers

    Ya, the politics suck sometimes.

    It was sad this year. There was not enough interest in the state championship match, they had to cancel it. We needed 150 shooters to break even, and we got less than 75 who signed up. [V]

    Maybe next year they will hold it closer to Denver. It was to be in Pueblo this year. A two hour drive from Denver. It might make a difference, might not. Don't know.

    if you don't have any going on that's great, start wining every match by 15+ seconds it will find you, we have 3 ranges here, so we have 3 matches a month, and a weekly match indoors, allot of guys have been competing for 10+ years, and don't like it when a guy that has been competing for 1 year starts winning {2 years ago}, you will get accused of cheating every way possible, i have been video taped, chronograph-ed you name it, i have been given bullsheet pe's and still won, i have never cheated once, i did get cheated out of several trophies, one was when i won cdp division by 5 seconds to the next shooter, 5 days later i get a message that the second winners score was calculated wrong and i lost by 1/2 second, but his original score sheet could not be produced, he was a s.o. at the match, and member of the range, earlier that year i won state cdp division, and most accurate shooter, i know it is not a required trophy but they did give out, high lady, law enforcement, and senior, i just happened to beat the same guy by 7 seconds, it took me 7 months and a call to hq to even get my division trophy, some who won did not even receive theirs

    maybe it is just this area i don't know, but so's that don't know the rules, and are partial to their friends are the norm here

    i have nothing more to prove in idpa, i proved to myself what i can do thats good enough for me, but the bottom line is i want to win by an honest score, but i also want to loose by an honest score
