Try Not To Anger Your Neighbor!

A city councilman in Utah, Mark Easton, had a beautiful view of the east mountains, until a new neighbor purchased the lot below his house and built a new home.



The new home was 18 inches higher than the ordinances would allow, so Mark Easton, mad about his lost view, went to the city to make sure they enforced the lower roof line ordinance. The new neighbor had to drop the roof line, at great expense.



Recently, Mark Easton called the city, and informed them that his new neighbor had installed some vents on the side of his home. Mark didn't like the look of these vents and asked the city to investigate. When they went to Mark's home to see the vent view, this is what they found...

    We built a new home up north in 1998. Neighbor was anti- gun and called the law many times when I would shoot off my patio. Law would come and not do anything but maybe want to shoot my guns..We lived in the country. Guy was just a pest. Called the law cause I was driving around in my field with an old car.. I made a circle track in the field. He didn't like it. So, when we put in the satellite dish.. the old 10' round ones with motorized movement , I put it clear out in the field just far enough so he could see it out his front window. Did that piss him off... Cost me extra wire but it was worth every penny..[:D][:D]

    That is funny as hell. Looks like something I would do.
    It would cost a bundle to drop a roof eighteen inches.
    I mean, codes should be enforced, but, eighteen inches? Come on, he should have let it drop.
