Do I prosses or not ?
My nieghbor just woke me up. He had a little button buck in the back of his truck that he had just hit. It was still alive (barely) and nothing looks do be damaged meat wise.
I ended its suffering and now have it laying out near my shed. It is cold enuff that there will be no spoilage in the meat by leaving it lay there over night.
Again I see no visible signs of where there wuld be any damage to the meat from being hit and the inpact could not have been that hard as there is no damage to the truck.
Should I prosses up this deer or what?

If you have aknife thats got a gut-hook, that'd be best.Just start at the thin belly skin, and make a small hole. Hook the guthook in that hole and pull it up to it's sternum, then rearward as far as U can. Carefull not to hit the Bladder or gut. If it's guts are spilled from bein hit , just pull them out and hose the cavity out. Then either split the sternum all the way up, or break thru the diaphram and haul the heart/lungs out. U'll have to cut the esophigus,and wind pipe to clean it out.Just cut all you can out of the intestines , or cut around its ass from the outside and pull the intestines out.From the inside.
Hose it out, spread ribs with a stick or a board and hang it from the tendeons of the back legs...

Have you ever gutted an animal?
I don't mean for those to be smart remarks, but a deer guts like most other animals, and if you watched yours being gutted, or have gutted other mammals, you should be able to do it. Just be very careful not to open the stomach, intestines, colon or bladder. If you do, throw the meat away.
Cut off the genitals, split the pelvis without rupturing the guts, cut the skin from the removed penus and scrotum up to the breast bone without rupturing the guts, cut the skin around the anus and down to the other cut, use your hand to seperate the lungs from the ribcage, reach in and cut the windpipe, then pull them all out.0 -
The meat will not be good unless you gut that thing now. You cannot tell whether the meat is bloodshot until you skin it. Personally, I would not mess with road kill...but you might have some good meat there. 0 -

Was kind of wondering if he helped or watched, or gutted any othe mammals. It's really no different for a deer, and if he has seen it or done any other gutting, he should have an easy time of it.

All the deer I have ever gotten either my grandfather did for me or I had them at the prosseser in about an hour and they did it for me.
I have done some small game in the past but that has been many years ago.

Sounds like you've had enough exposer to do a good job. The key is to not open up any of the guts with the knife, and cut the windpipe loose before you try to pull the guts out.

Here is a real brief tutorial. Take the knife. Use it and your free hand to take all the insides and put them outside. Worry about the details later. 0 -

Not sure how good I did but I'll know better after the sun comes up as the orange glow of my street light is not the best for seeing detail.
