Java experts???

Trying to install HP Procurve manager and I get java errors

    are you using version 2.2?, what os are you trying to put it on?

    i assume you have sun java insttalled, if not what vm do you have?

    Using the most current one (Java). Trying to install on XP.

    saying "java" is like saying i drive a "car", there are more than one type

    anyway try caching your browser, and then cache your java

    click on Internet properties, in general tab choose "delete files" in your temporary files, and choose delete all offline content

    then to cache your java, go to control panel, choose java console, open your java control panel, in the "temporary Internet files" open settings,click delete files, make sure both boxes are checked

    try to install it then, if you get the error restart, and try to install
