Any fps info on various Winchester factory ammo?

I've shot exclusively Winchester white box 40 cal. 180 grain ammo(except in my self-defence magazines in the home) since starting target shooting my semi-auto pistols.
It just seemed the best price and a good all around FMJ target round for me to shoot and later reload. So, I just kept buying and using it.

But Wal-Mart was out last weekend, so I bought some white box 165 grained ammo.

Then was Blown Away by how much more Powerful the 165s were that my usual 180s. It turns out they load Way more explosive accelerant into the smaller grained ammo than the heavier one(I thought it would be the same, but just the opposite. It acted like twice the recoil/flip,etc. than the 180s)

There are NO indications on their boxes about fps muzzel velosity(for say, a 4" barrel, whatever) at all.

HOW do I find out what fps I can expect from the different factory loads?
Is there something Winchester will email or send me to know, please?

    In the back of the Guns & Ammo Annual edition, there are ballistics tables. They are also out there online.

    Of course, with different lots of ammo, different pistols, different ambient conditions (temp, pressure, etc) there will be variation. Only way to find out for your gun with your ammo is to use a chronograph.... maybe look to see if there is an IPSC shoot near you. I've seen the chronys set up a IPSC shoots to make sure the 9mm guys are making the bottom end, and the guys claiming major are actually making major...

    Please forgive and help me find those tables on Winchester 40 cal. muzzel fps?

    I've looked EVERYwhere it seems on Google, and can Not find Factory fps tables for 40 caliber pistols(of Any average(or specific) barrel length.

    Please....if you wouldn't mind, give me a link to something relatively recent published about Winchester 180, 165, 155 and 135 grain FMJ rounds, please!

    I Appreciate that Winchester factorory link. I found it before, and still don't see any factory bullet grain to fps tables.
    Do you know where they are for there general factory loads?

    I see a fps for 40 caliber 165 graind FMJ for Winchester factory ammo, but NOT for the popular Winchester 180 grain FMJ.(so I still don't know how to compare the 165 to 180 Winchester fps)?

    Can anyone help me find the factory info foe Winchester 180s, please?

    Just for giggles you could drop a line to the customer service department, and explained what you found (and didn't find) maybe you will not only get your answer but Winchester will send info to the publisher/maintainer of said information with updated info.

    Just got a return phone call from "Browning/Winchester" ammo Department.

    They were very nice and explained a few things to me in general(about 180s and 165s), but said the ballistics info on all factory ammo products in all calibers is available in their catalog. So he took my name and address, saying he'd send one to me shortly.

    FWIW - I went to the ballistics table page you linked to, there are 2 listings for 180s, both are listed as "standard between more than a few makers". Pick those two, pick a velocity halfway between them, and that is probably just as close to the real numbers as anythign else listed...

    riht there on the left of the page, you choose what cal, bullet, etc, it takes you right to it
