This is the first I've heard of them. Before I could sign the deed and write the check, you said I can't take my dog. Guess I'll have to wait for the next group.

Ahhhh.....suggest you pass on the Kool-Aid. And research Jim Jones and the People's Temple. Or Heaven's Gate. Or any other dozen loonies of your chosing.

I'm pretty sure that they stopped at Portland's Rose Festival a few years ago. Toured their boat, took some tracts, left the boat, threw out the tracts.

Seemed pretty innocuous, but so do they all.

I found it very interesting the way up north in Afghanistan near the border with Iran and Turkmenistan in a city call Herat archaeologist found Christians that still spoke Aramaic, one of the two languages that Jesus spoke. Could they be of the so called lost tribe?

I just thought of a Twilight Zone episode.
An old hillbilly was out hunting with his hound dog. The hound dog jumped in the creek to get a raccoon, the hillbilly jumped in after him. They both drowned.
The old guy and his dog went into the afterlife. They were walking down a dirt road. They came to a wooden gate. There was a nice looking fellow standing there. He told the hillbilly, "This is the Pearly Gate. Welcome to Heaven. We have been expecting you."
The hillbilly said that was great. Then "St Peter" told him, "You have to tie up the dog to the fence here, no dogs allowed in Heaven."
The hillbilly told "St Peter," "No thanks, I don't go anywhere without my dog."
So, the hillbilly and his dog walked on down the road. In a little while, they came to another wooden gate. There was a nice looking fellow standing there. He said, "This is the Pearly Gate. Welcome to Heaven. We have been expecting you."
The hillbilly said, "I am not coming in without my dog."
St Peter said, "Of course you may bring the dog. Dogs are welcome in Heaven."
The hillbilly told him about the other gate that wouldn't let his dog in.
St Peter said, "I am glad you didn't go in that gate. That wasn't Heaven."
