It's Time To Move

Been planning a move for a couple years now, I think I better hurry up.
The Saint Louis Police Department released some crime stats for last year and the Post Dispatch printed them today. Keep in mind that the City is a fairly small place with a population of @350,000, and whites currently make up less than 20% of that number.

8,645 vehicle thefts

3,147 robberies

129 murders, and that number doesn't reflect the beatings, stabbings, and shootings that didn't result in fatalities.

I live here and know it's bad, but damn, that shocks even me.

  University City is a safe haven compared to The Ville, Jeff-Vander-Lou, Wells-Goodfellow, etc. You can't walk the streets in broad daylight in these 'hoods.[:D]
  
  
  
  worse place i have seen yet is the "hodimont" right off skinker, and Delmar, the even burnt down a very nice brand new public housing complex, and skinker at mlk, is dry by haven, i seen one a few years back when i worked in the area, now i work near the 6000 block of good fellow, i don't think there is one area that is better than the other, their all sheet, but of course that's just racist, it kills me to see those nice Victorian homes get destroyed
