    I have had great luck with, believe it or not, e-machines desktops. Found one at wally world yesterday with the same processor as your HP, HD was smaller (it was 180GB), didn't include the TV tuner. All else was same. Price was $298. I bought two of them. The kicker? Windows XP Pro. I will take that over Vista any day of the week!

    i'll take 4, i highly doubt they where q6600 cpu for one it won't run on xp it requires a 64bit os, and the cpu alone cost more than that wholesale, g force 7500 is not cheap, nor is lightscribe or a sata hard drive of any size, i don't think emachines even put out a quadcore system, and i know that it don't have lightscribe because it only comes on hp/compaq/toshiba

    slipgate thats a hell of a deal, wish i would have seen it a week ago, i have yet to see a quad core system that cheap, if anyone else wants to know that is one bad ass system, you'll be hard pressed to find one at twice that price
