Another police shooting*More Graffic*
Now I did see a story on this and I have watched I dont know how many of these videos I have seen over the years. My father being a police officer would always watch these videos to try and learn from them and see what and if any mistakes the officer was making to lead to him getting shot. Apparently this was an on going thing between the officer and the guy that shot him but this officer should have never turned his back on that car.

I didnt look at the reply's on this video till now and look at some of what these sorry s.o.b's have to say about this officer and police in general. Everybody hates a cop until they need one. One of the most unappreciated professions I know of. 0 -
There is another video of the history between these two. The shooter was sitting alone at a remote location, and the officer rolled up on him and they had a long confrontation where the officer was asking the kid questions and the kid was freaking out telling him he wasn't doing anything and he didn't want to talk to the officer basically. The kid ended up getting arrested. The officer was being pushy and handled it differently than he could have (eg. "what are you doing?" "enjoying some alone time officer" sniff sniff, hmm i dont smell pot and don't see anything.."ok, behave yourself son."). The kid was being very irrational and loud and confrontational, and handled the situtation poorly as well.
Tragic all around, they both ended up dead- the shooter was shot by other cops shortly after he killed the one in this video.
Her is the first confrontation

WHY WOULD THE LEO SPRAY AND THEN TURN HIS BACK? 0 -
...OK, I don't get stopped by cops, 2 tickets in about 35 years of driving. I know and have known a lot of cops. The cops I know are 110% honest and good cops. I KNOW they give people way beyond the "benefit of doubt", but screw with them, not obey a command, and they will do their job to the T.
Why someone wants to be a smart azz to a cop in their actions, and cop an attitude with an LEO is beyond me. People get an attitude just because they're stopped for a traffic violation, now thats a real smart move! All they do with they're attitude is make it worse on themselves. Not being criminally minded, and not having too much contact with LEO's other than my friends that are cops, I don't get it.
The 2nd ticket I ever got in my life was a speeding ticket, 8mph over; and come to find out that cop is known to write the MOST tickets on the force...lucky me...an yes, he did show up in court [:D]
It's too easy just to answer questions your ask, and to get it over and go on your way.
Being a cop needs to be a "calling", not a "cool job", if it's the latter, hopefully the psych test would eleminate them from getting in.
LEO's have a hard thankless job. I for one like cops. I would much rather them go out and deal with the scum of the earth than me having to do it. It's a shame the ACLU twits, and others have tied their hands to such a degree, well, it's beyond a shame, it's pathetic.
Just because some slime bag points a gun at them does not mean they shoot back immediately for fear of 9 yards of endless investigations, including by the FBI. Duh, point a gun in my direction, pretty damn self explanitory to me, your going to get shot, all talking would be over at that point. Leo's have to "weigh" a hundred factors in a split second, and not all to do with the immenant threat they're facing, sad.
Salute to the LEO's that have to do their jobs with one hand tied behing their back...[;)]

After seeing the first video I know there is no way I could be a cop. I would have beat the holy hell out of the shooter on the first stop. I got pissed off just listening to him being an idiot to the officer. I don't understand the last video. I would like to know more of what happened there. Also it said a passer by killed the killer. Any links to a news report? 0 -
Yeah Rosie in the video there is a ford truck sitting there and the guy in that truck was a marine who ran up and grabbed the officers gun and fired and killed the suspect. You can go to you tube and watch the whole 10 minute video and it explains the whole situation,it shows the whole chase because that was just a small part of it the guy pulled over once and just sat there and so did the officer and after they sat there for like 5 minutes the guy took off again. I will try and find the link I read about it. The guy who killed the officer was related to a olympic athlete from what I remember. 0 -
the police officer used bad law enforcement techniques. 0 -
There ain't enough gold, diamonds or any other wealth that could entice me to be a cop. Crapped on by second guessing moron do-gooders. Led by political hacks and paid chicken feed. Add to that dealing with granny driving the wrong way on a one way street and two minutes later responding to a domestic with a dead child involved. NO thanks, no way. 0 -
sad things like that happen, the officer made several mistakes that cost him his life
the part that goes untouched is the guy is willing to kill a cop, he is willing to kill me and you, but people fail to accept that we all need to protect ourselves here in the united states0
