have frind who wont use gun for defence

ok, i cant figure it out he loves to go shooting,and dosnt care about me carying mine,he just wont use one.i tried to give him one for free he would not take it,just buges me to take him shooting.he isnt scared of them at all, he smiles wide when he emptys mags at milk cartons.he goes bow hunting and would have no problem using his bow on a home invader. he just insists guns are for p@#%&*.im just at my wits end with the guy.maby you guys could give me some things to say to him.if there good ill make him read them. please help.thank you for your time friends. johnny dangerously

    Tell your friend that "Roadhouse" wasn't a documentary and that a "Real Man" would use any means available to protect his life and the lives of his family.

    Unless your friend is Chuck Norris, in which case, I believe he has a point.

    Let it go, If he choices not to have one, Its his choice. I have a friend who goes shooting with me on occasion, and loves it. But he tells me the he doesn't think he is the type of person to own a firearm. He said sometimes he does clumsy fooey. And you don't get second chances with firearms. All thought at the range he is as safe with a firearm as the next person. And there is no argument from me about that.

    I also wonder how many of those ppl have a self confidence issue. Then there are those that have too much confidence with a gun.

    Now Im a full grown man and albeit its a bit childish but I will still get down and throw hands if I feel disrespected or if I should find myself in a situation where a fist fight is needed but as for the comment guns are for p@@sy's that a stupid statement.Thats like saying police or soldiers are p@@sy's because they carry guns.It doesnt make you a p@@sy to carry a pistol it makes you prepared if a situation arises where your fists just wont cut it.I carry a gun and keep it for defense am I a p@@sy?Absoulutely not but Im also not stupid to the fact of sometimes you just might need a gun.
