Not right away- but
Heard something about the U.N. taking control. With the US Navy downsizing the amount of ships at a rapid pace the Navy's resource's will be next to nill for patrolling U.S. waters (something like around 2009-10.).
Anybody hear about this and the details? I do know it's on bushes desk and he is ready to pass it.

Who knows anymore. This place is going to hell in a hand basket more and more everyday. I just keep stockpiling ammo, water, and foods.

I thought the Coasties patrolled our territorial waters?
Besides, any nasties that the Coast Guard cannot handle will quickly find themselves being bombed and missiles by either Chair Force or Navy aviation, and end up having a really bad day.0 -

The battle over the Law of the Sea Treaty first began 25 years ago, eventually being torpedoed by President Reagan. It resurfaced in 2004 under the sponsorship of Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., and was successfully defeated by then Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn.
President Bush announced his intention to seek reintroduction of LOST for ratification to a small group of trusted Republican grass-roots organizers last week - an announcement that was met with horror and scorn.
Eagle Forum leader Phyllis Schlafly, Center for Security Policy President Frank Gaffney, Leadership Institute President Morton Blackwell, Free Congress Foundation founder Paul Weyrich and leaders of the Heritage Foundation were quick to denounce the idea in forceful terms, calling on their members to begin lobbying the White House immediately.0 -

Doesn't matter. Nobody besides themselves takes them seriously, and the whole UN is just a bunch of barbaric tribesmen from Africa. As soon as pillage the US there won't be any UN and they have to return to their trees. Europe will be swallowed by Islam, China will go bankrupt once there won't be US to sell tube socks, won ton soup and cheap microchips to. Everyone else will just kind of continue existing on their own. No big deal. Make sure you have plenty of ammo and canned goods and you'll be alright [:p]
Btw, I've never seen chinese work at Wal-mart (stores), besides the largest concentration is in CA, isn't it?0 -

You've thus far managed to throw out the terms "socialism" and "slavery" but haven't explained how this is either
As far as I've read, this treaty covers international waters, not U.S costal waters0
