Hmmm? Pointing out ............
that "all auction venues seem to have non-paying bidders" will evidently get a thread poofed. I've got to say that is truly pathetic (and clearly another sign of the times). Sad too, as I perceive some of those with the "power to poof" are simply "sweeping bad things under the rug." Reminds me of our government. [V]

Yep, believe you're right----it's already gone (poofed). Don't you just love censorship
if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen!
This one will probably get poofed next!0 -
I missed the point of this unfortunately,......but I believe I can guess!
Hit and run poof!0 -
You should try pointing out when a seller is ripping off bidders, those get poofed so fast you head will spin........ 0 -
That's why they hire cops. Coverup! 0 -
My first big forum disallusionment was on a motorcycle forum. Some guy had come up with a way to alter his motorcycle's vacuum-operated fuel petcock and make it into an old fashioned manual operated device. He told how it was done....
Then apparently decided he could make money on the idea by marketing the two or three little hardware items required to do the job, and the very next day, two things happened. 1) The previous post about how to alter the petcock was gone, cast into the aether ne'er to be seen again, and 2) The guy began marketing the idea that very day. And today, a couple of years later, it's almost a 'must have' item for the up and coming forum member.
Me? Well, I remembered enough of the original post to make my own....but found my memory is no longer as it was when I was younger, and I kept forgetting to turn the gas off. It didn't take me long to reverse de-engineer it and get back to the OEM item.
Interesting how things happen, isn't it? Especially if filthy lucre is involved, huh?

I didn't poof it, nor did I see it. Fact is, all auctions, if they do enough business, will have non-paying bidders. If you take enough checks, you will sooner or later, get a bad one. If you buy enough guns, sooner or later you will buy one that is stolen, or broken. 0 -
