    If that is true, that is kind of a "bummer" to me in respect to my opinion of him.

    Now I didnt say hero. I said you cant help but respect him for what he says because there are many in his position to be heard that dont say what he is afraid not too but would still like to say what he says. No P.C. filter in there. And plus he is funny as hell. Youve got to respect anybody who has the courage to speak what is on their mind about who is on their mind no matter what the persons position that they dont like in this country is.

    I respect Johnny Towelhead a hell of a lot more than Nugent.....at least the ragheads are willing to fight for what they believe in

    Nugent is all talk and no walk....He's a rich man enjoying the fruits of a rich life, all the while trying to portray himself as something he certainly is NOT.

    Like him as a person or not (I personally like him as a person, although I do not agree with his draft dodgeing), he is one of the best spokesmen we have supporting our gun rights!!!!!!!!!!!!

    NO HE'S NOT! He's waaaay to out in left field to do any good for the "marginal" gun hater, those who could be "turned" with a little help from a well-spoken gun owner. Don't get me wrong. I think the guy is a hoot and love his show, but he's definately out there!

    I guess that is all that matters ehh? Does it matter that he gave support to a senate candidate, and when he was offered a position at the NRA he left the candidate out to dry?
    You can thank Ted for Spencer Abraham's election to the senate as that is the candidate he ended up backing (per his instructions from the NRA), and thank Spencer for screwing it up so bad debbie stabyanow took office in a election where the republicans took the majority!

    dheff...I will say that I disagree with the WAY he says things and the methods he uses. Not necessarily his message. Guess you can say I agree with the message but not the messenger. [:D]
