He's back and he's bigger
For those of you that remember the post that I entered last march(2006)about the very large Black Bear that I scared off my front porch with my flintlock loaded with 110gr black powder held in with kleenex tissue at approx. 12 feet, well he's back again this year and this time I dispatched him off my front steps with my .44 629! Only this time I was at a measured 6'!! I shot thru the pet door as I layed flat out on the porch floor! Shot into the ground about one foot from his nose as he was eating the pile of corn I had put out for the deer! Man can he move in a hurry[:D]

Yea rogue, that though was going thru my mind as I was laying there but I had to scare him off so that my wife wouldn't call the game commission ant have him trapped and relocated[:)] 0 -
When he has come through the kitchen window and plundered the refrigerator, maybe you will rethink that strategy. 0 -
Might end up like the hunter and the bear joke that ended up with the mean, smelly, nasty, horny old bear telling the hunter "You really didn't come to the woods to hunt, did you?" 0
