I was watching TV news tonight and they ran a little piece about what
a stay at home mom should be paid - provided they were paid a fair
workplace salary

Nothing. It is her/his choice to stay at home with the kids. I have always worked and chose a job where I could be flexible enough to be at every one of my kids events. If you want to be home with your kids and not work then fine, but that is a choice and you do not deserve to be paid for it. I also fully believe that any stay at home parent has no right to expect the other 1/2 to do any of the daily household chores. If he/she chooses to help fine. 0 -

Don't have that problem to worry about! Not married,....yet, but engaged, and have stretched it about as far as I can! We both work, and share in the "chores",........I do outside, and garbage, and all the grilling. I also unlike most guys, handle all the money! She wants it that way,........doesn't want to be responsible for paying bills, etc.
I agree,.......if someone chooses to stay home, yes, it is work,.......but having children, and staying home with them, is a choice, and I think it is ridiculous if they are expecting us to pay them,...........my answer ZERO,.........but I would switch places with a female in that situation, as long as she had the same earning power! No one says you can't take the kids to the range![;)]0 -
