Homeowner shoots intruder may face charges

http://www.rep-am.com/ This is here in CT,about 3/4 of the way down the page is a poll,please help CT gun owners. This state has some real bad laws,including one of the worst AWB in the country. This paper is mostly conservative. Give us a boast please.

    Flying, CT is a small state,but I think Waterbury is the 3rd largest city.

    Southbury shooter could face arrest

    Man supposedly found in basement

    SOUTHBURY - Both men involved in Sunday's shooting of a home intruder on Berkshire Road could face criminal charges pending an investigation by police and the Waterbury State's Attorney's Office.

    Police on Monday identified the intruder as Justin Alter, 21, of 12 Monica Ave., Brookfield. He remained in stable but serious condition at Waterbury Hospital, where he underwent surgery Sunday for a single gunshot wound. Police will not say where on his body he was shot.
    Alter was disoriented after he crashed his Isuzu Rodeo on nearby River Road at 1:04 a.m., police said. He walked .4 miles to the Berkshire Road neighborhood, where police said he broke into a home at 44 Berkshire Road owned by John Nagy.

    Nagy told police he was awakened by a noise in his basement about 2 a.m., and went to investigate armed with a weapon. Police said he encountered Alter in the basement. He said he fired one shot after Alter advanced toward him, then ran outside and called police.
