I've got a program called Photo Stitch. I got it with my Canon camera, it's a pretty good program. What photo editing program(s) do you have?

This might look a little complicated, but it's one fairly easy way to do it.

First backup your photos in case something goes wrong.

Open Microsoft Paint (the paint program which comes with XP).

    Under "Image" uncheck "Draw Opaque".

Under "Image" use "Stretch/Skew" to make the image at least twice as large as your two photos.

    "Minimize" the Microsoft Paint.

Open another Microsoft Paint and open your first photo. Under "Edit" left click "Select All" and "Copy".

Go to the first "Paint" and click "Paste". Move it all the way to the left.

Go to the second "Paint" and open your second photo. Under "Edit" left click "Select All" and "Copy".

Go to the first "Paint" and click "Paste". Move it beside the first photo.

It might take a couple of trys, but you'll get the hang of it.

If the photos aren't "Bitmap", you will have better luck if you reformat them to "Bitmap" first. The colors get a little strange with "Jpeg" sometimes.

That's what I asked the photographer when he took my "Official Navy Photos". He said "Damn it Jim, I'm a photographer, not a magician.
