Whoever listed that gun like that has some nads. That's all I've got to say except: lol.

I take it he blew the cylinder apart using incorrect pressure ammo - right? Inventive reloads possibly?

Well, he did say it has a few scratches, but I see a big ding in it.

No refund also. [:(!] I'm not bidding.

Makes a good educational tool I guess... probly still has to go through an FFL though.

I wouldn't think that it would have to go through an FFL as the frame has been "rendered useless" or "destroyed". Would be a great gun for parts - if you needed them. ghs

There aren't any parts left worth $10 that I can tell. The grips are about all I see of any use....maybe a screw or something inside.....maybe

No FFL needed for this but, I recall a guy asking about guns in this kind of shape a while back over on AtE board for his training classes.... This is a good one too.....

Muss,,, There was a ammo dealer who used to display guns like this at gunshows around here to show the dangers of reloading yourself. Many were far worse than this one and they weren't all S&W's either. As I recall he and the dude selling reloading equipment didn't have a lot to say to one another, so it must have been a pretty good sales gimick....

What I want to see are pictures of the guy/gal who was holding that thing when it blew. It looks like it did some damage.

One of the bidders has hit and won your stuff in the past, trigger and hammer are worth the current bid.And some one at a show will buy the remains for 35-40 bucks just for show

Now he knows why you don't reload your ammo with double the amount of powder.[:D]

I think the gun was fired "twice". The first time, when fired with no powder, the bullet just made it out of the cylinder. Second shot got the shooters attention about the time this thought went thru his mind: "Hmmm, that first round sure sounded kind of soft".
