Interesting Day
I was out on the four wheeler today, on the trails across from my property and came across a fox.
I thought it was rabid at first because of the way it was moving, but then noticed it's foot was in a trap. (its not trapping season in NY) I called the DEC and the officer came and I took him for a ride up to see where it was and he had to shoot it because it was decimated.
Then we started looking and found a couple more traps hidden around, all illegal. Shows what kind of neighbors I have around here.

Leftovers from the winter, maybe? Who would want the pelts from an animal now? The ones I see look pretty scroungy (word?). I saw a bear last week, he looked like he'd been dragged behind a truck for awhile with all that thick winter fur coming off. 0
