A 25-year-old illegal immigrant from the U.S. faces numerous firearms-related charges after blasting a shotgun during a dispute at his daughter's christening party.
Toronto Police say a man got into an argument with his 11-month-old girl's grandfather around 8 p.m. Sunday at the Calypso Hut Restaurant on Victoria Park Ave. at Sunrise Ave. in Scarborough.
The man was booted out of the restaurant, grabbed the firearm and fired a blast. One woman was injured by flying glass while another female was hit in the leg with a pellet that didn't break the skin, police said.

Police said the restaurant was crowded with about a dozen patrons celebrating the christening when the argument started between the suspect and the father of the child's mom.

"Charming, eh?" one officer said about the incident's circumstances.

Police said the man is alleged to have entered Canada illegally from New York City and has lived here for "a couple of years." Police said he is not wanted for any crime in the States.
The man's name is being withheld because it could identify the child, police said.
He faces a string of charges, including discharging a firearm that endangered life and careless use of a firearm.

    Since they generally don't bother to learn the language wherever they illegally "immigrate" to, I would think it would be just as easy for them to feel at home in Red China as well as anywhere else.

    Excellent idea, and lets "outsource" our Illegal Alien prisoners to
    a Chinese prison where it would cost less than our prisoner costs. Or to any other country and put their prison costs up for bid. Long as we are "ousorcing" everything else why not these prisoners.
