Since it is so cheep try several brands and find out what shoots best in your gun. I have some the like the Federal, some like the Remingtons, my suppressors like the Aguila ammo.

[V]Thunderbolts SUCK! Not very accurate and numerous misfires. Federal Champions are much better.

Federal Champion is my favorite. I buy it from Acadamy for $10.90 a brick. I get better accuracy in several of my rifles than with more expensive stuff.

Federal Champion (use to be Federal Lightning??) sells for $1.07 at Wallyworld or $10.70 a 500 brick. Don't bother trying to find it in my area I have been buying it all up!!!

It is not as good as Wolf or RWS Target but they coast 3 times as much or more.
The primer is not as consistent so you get some that can be a little hotter or less and I can usually call them by their sound.

The way things are going with ammo I am trying to stock up as much as possible even in 22LR as Wally will jump the price when his warehoused stuff is gone and he reorders at the new soaring rates----IMO!!!

I shoot Elly sport green box
Elly in the white box is even better
Wolf target is also good but $$$

when the SHTF it won't matter what you have as long as you have alot of it IMO

I have had real good luck with Remington Viper ammo, as well as CCI Stinger's and Velociter's. As mentioned, stay away from the Remington Thuderbolt stuff unless you have a single shot or bolt action, stuff is junk.

Yup ... I'm going to stick with Federal 550's at Wal Mart!

Not sure on how much they are, but I've had good luck with Remington Golden Bullets shooting from a Marlin 60 and Glock 22 conversion kit.

Check out Winchester Dynapoint, but look closely at the box for where it's made: East Alton, IL.

Dynapoint is made at different plants but the stuff made in IL. shoots great.
