hardwood in bathroom?
I asked on here earlier about installing pre-finished Bruce hardwood floors. My question now is I have some extra and was wondering how it would hold up in a bathroom.

It would worry me. If you have no kids at home that like to take 1/2 hour showers and would dry off in the tub it might be ok. 0 -

Hi, The steam from showering and dripping water even over a towel will eventually raise the grain in the wood and probably buckle the boards if too tight.I wouldn't suggest putting it in.If there is no window for light mold is also a factor.saw last reply I think slow and type slower,sorry. 0 -
I built a house once and used yellow pine floors in the bathroom. Sanded them and put 4 coats of polyurethane on them.
I wouldn't use wood again on a bathroom floor. I was real careful taking showers, etc, and still, after a few years, started to have problems with the floor. Try ceramic tile, that is what I have in my current house.0 -
