Well that's just wonderfull

Looked at my bank account and found a charge from UPS for almost $700. What in the world would I have to ship that cost nearly $700 bucks. I'm trying to call my bank and UPS but of course everyone is closed.

    Got a hold of my bank and the computers just happen to be down so they couldn't help me other then tell me the process.

    Looks like I can call UPS and hopefully they can reimburse me the money, no idea how long that will take. The other option is I can challenge it through my bank, but she said that would take 5 days to be reimbursed. So basically I have to wait about a week to get my $700 back. Then there is the overdraft fees since I leave enough to pay bills plus a couple extra hundred and siphon the rest off to my savings account. Wonder what's going to happen with them?

    I don't know. Last time I had to challenge something it ended up the number they were trying to use was very close to mine (this was on another bank account with another bank).

    I don't think someone got a hold of my number though because $700 to ship things is kind of a odd charge for a theif to rack up. I'd think it be something more like stereo's ect.

    I am a long time Dale Jarrett Fan!!! I occasionally wear a super nice No.88 UPS Jacket and on two occassins now someone has threated to whip my ass because they think I work for UPS... After watching a UPS delivery man throw my new Dell PC out of the truck and down on the street I can understand why....UPS is all about money..respect for the customer is not an issue with them!!!

    If you live in a large city where your bank deals with hundreds of people a day, you might be out of luck, but my bank has reversed overdraft charges on occasions where mistakes were made that were beyond my control. You would need to speak to the bank manager, more than likely, and be able to demonstrate that the charge debited against your account was a mistake on UPS's part, but you might have some luck that way.

    I've never had a problem with UPS. Must be lucky.

    Thats because they've made them all "Sub-Contractors"

    UPS has the absolute worst customer service of any shipper. [:(!][:(!][:(!]

    I now use FedEx exclusively.

    Called UPS and they flat out told me they won't do anything to help me and rudely I might add. I'll never use them agian because the way they acted.

    Challenged through my bank and I'll have to wait 5 days to get my money back because of someone else. [:(!]

    That's strange because they said whatever it was, was sent to Russia. Last time I looked around I wasn't in Russia, it's to damn hot here.
