No Car For People Determined Mentally Ill By Court
Did you hear about this lady who hit 35 people with her car ? Friends and police say she has been treated before due to mental illness. Should she be allowed to have a car or drive a car ?

Driving is a privilege. It is not a constitutional right.
When I hear that "Driving is a privilege, not a right" line I wonder if driving is a privilege who provides us this privilege? The government??0 -
Exactly...they are the ones that issue and control the licensing. I have no doubt that if the car had been invented before the constitution, it would have been included in our "rights". only to be trampled on later.... 0 -
A lady here in florida with alzheimers hit a guy on the indian rocks causeway near my house, but then she forgot and rode around with his leg in her car for a couple hours. 0 -
When my Dad got real bad, we talked him into giving up his license and hid the car keys from him. Sad, but way safer for him and everyone else.[:(] 0
