Didn't know there was anyone from Albany. I go down once or twice a year to see my brother and his family over in Edison. Excellent hunting down there. Especially the big shaggies. Hogs that is, for those used to those little three hundred pound piglets hunted elsewhere. Some of those things get upwards of eight hundred lbs and long shaggy hair.

Why do some people think military service is a prerequisite for posting on this site? I can't say for sure, but I think it's just simple ignorance. The first disagreement I had with anybody on this forum was about my first post. snuffysgat did one of his C&P's with a comment in the Politics forum. I agreed with him, and Classic095 demanded to know "What is your claim to fame?" I told him I didn't have a claim to fame and didn't know you had to have one to have an opinion. Then good old HAIRY came right behind him letting me know I wasn't entitled to an opinion because I not only didn't have any military service, I wasn't old enough to have served. They never did explain what any of that had to do with my opinion of snuffy's political post.
Sometimes I'll give a military opinion from a person who has served in the military more weight than an opinion from a person who has not served. That's not always the case. I remember one Ensign trying to explain to my Executive Officer how a First Class Gunner's Mate with twenty-nine years in the Navy had gotten him into trouble. The Ensign said "But, but, but XO, the man has twenty-nine years experience. The XO said, "No, the man has one year experience twenty-nine times." Military service should make you knowledgeable about the military, but it don't always.
On subjects other than military, military service makes no difference at all. I knew a Chief who used to say "I don't have to eat a rotten apple to know it's rotten."0 -

I want to spray something on the weeds that have grown in the vegetable garden so that I don't just till in fresh weeds, thus replanting them. What can I spray on them to kill them, that won't be poisonous to people after it reaches the soil?? I am referring to eating the vegetables that will be coming out of the garden, starting sometime in July (I usually plant ~ mother's day). I know most chemicals say they are inert after some time in the soil, but I figured you would know better than me asking a box store employee.

I have not posted a pic of Bry'ann on this forum for a couple reasons, the biggest reason is there are some true jerks on here that cannot keep their opinions to themselves about women. These same jerks must all be married to super models and feel they must insult and make comments about other women who do not fit their criteria for what they feel women should look like.
