God forbid anyone call a white fellow SPANKY! [:D][:D][:D]

Do they still have the TV shows about these kids for other kids and adults to watch, or have the speech police began to run them on PBS along with other holocaust material, like the Jena 6 Hate Crimes are sure to be.

If anyone wants to go through life being that sensitive, Lord knows they have the right but it seems like a lot of unnecessary misery to me. If the liberals want to start burying each other over such nonsense and foolishness, more power to them.

Actually the Little Rascals was one of my favorite TV shows growing up, always made them white folk look foolish.

Hollywood has always been the villian, huh? Maybe someday they will make white only films, black only films, or asian only films. Until then no one will likely be happy, it seems. Too bad people can't laugh about themselves along with people of other color without taking offense.

People always bring up this racial thing, it only bothers people that are racist! I'm not a racist, and this crap doesn't bother me one bit!

The show that I don't understand being exiled to the garbage heap of history was Amos and Andy.

I've heard it was because it's "politically incorrect" and because of the racial stereotypes, but if you watch the shows the characters could be any race and the "stereotypes" if anything were positive. Amos was an intelligent businessman and family man who was always ready to straighten out any kind of mess and the Kingfish was anything but stupid. On the rare occasions when white people were in the show they were crooks and got their butts handed to them.

All that aside, the shows were hilarious.

How can we celebrate diversity if we don't acknowledge it?
We all eat, sleep, and screw the same. We all want a roof and a full belly for our families, and we all want to be left in peace.
Chances are we have more in common with each other than not.

Now where did I leave my Moonpie and Big Orange?[:o)]

No! No! I'm just joking. But seriously, this is typical of the kind of people who run for office and are elected. A couple cards short of a full deck.
