Just googled it...

Sounds like it's the .44 equivalent of .357 Maximum. And at the weight listed, .460S&W may be a better way to go...0 -
NOT a new round. Been out for quite a few years. Have an Encore barrel in it and love it. You won't be dissappointed, lots of POWER.[:D][:)] 0 -
I have a .445 Supermag 10 inch Contender barrel if it's to hot for you it can also shoot, .44 mags. or .44 specials.[:)] [8D] 0 -
cubslovers,
Like previously stated, this is not a new round. I believe that it was originally created as a long range target round.0 -
I have it in 15" Encore 1 of the best deer rounds ever made.[:D]
DanWesson also made/makes it.0 -

That's what I thought.0 -
I might have to put more thought into this round as a Whitetail round. Looks like a hard hitter. 0 -

It's a bit beyond just a whitetail round. With 315 or even 350 grain gas checked LSWC bullets at handload velocities it will take anything in North America. Has just about as much energy as a good 45-70 load can produce with great accuracy to boot.[:p]0
