Looks like I will get to buy a gun off gunbroker yet, I need some help from the pro's. How much do tranfer fees usually run? Just looking for a ball park. Does a long gun require a transfer at all or must it just be shipped to an FFL. If someone could just outline their experience step by step for me that would be helpful. I am new to this, so please try and bare with me. Thanks in advance. 0 -
First off I want to say that I know that I have never really made any post, but I visit the forums regularly. I have a problem that I have been contemplating on for a while and I figured with all the wisdom floating around here, someone could give me some advice.
I am 21 years old, I have always wanted to join the Marine Corp, and still do. Over the summer I worked very hard to get in shape and worked with the recruiter to get everything in order for me to enlist.
While working to get in shape I realized that enlisting right off might not be the best idea. Currently I have not been to any college but I am trying to decide what would be best.
To go back to school for four years, to get a degree and try to go in as an Officer or enlist and then go to school after I do my four active years.
My problem is that I have thought about this for so long that I can't even get a firm grasp on what is up and down. lol
I know I want to join, but is putting it off and going to school worth it first? or should I just enlist first? I really want to join but right now I'm not sure whether I want to make a career out of it so I need a degree to fall back on.
I know that if your making a career out of the military officer is the best best but still, I am very lost.
I know none of this probably makes sense and I'm rambling but I am really in need of some help and I know you guys get the idea of what I'm trying to ask,
If you have time, I would appreciate it if anyone could give me some advice, I am 100 percent honest.
please ask questions so I can explain better.

I have a Grandson on the way that will be born in the next week according to the doc. Now the question should he be the first or the second? I'm Sr, my son is Jr. From the looks of my daughter in law you better hurry with the answer. I don't think she will go another week. [^] [^] [^] [^]
