browning gold deer hunter
these a good deer hunting gun? whats one worth? it is a browning gold deer hunter, 3" chamber, canilever barrel, barrel threaded for invecter chokes, comes with a nice reddot...one of the glass ones. an pros and cons about them? thanks

I have a couple of Browning Gold hunters, 12 and 20. I really like them as they fit me very well. However, the Gold Deer Hunter should have a fully rifled barrel. If it is threaded for chokes, it is most likely the turkey barrel.
It will make a great turkey gun and an OK deer gun. I would prefer it had the fully rifled barrel for a deer gun.0 -
I have a gold stalker with a 26" smooth bore and a rifled slug barrel. The slug barrel shoots well, in fact so good I sometimes use it if the weather is bad and I don't want to take my Mod 70 out. It has scored me a few deer. I think I paid 550 for the combo, used. I know that was a good deal. 0
