Mormon teen sued for using the word gay
A mormon teen who was being harrased by some kids who asked if she had like ten moms said that is so gay and is being sued HAHA This country is going to hell in a hand basket as granny used to say

A lawsuit can be filed for just about anything. It has to make it's way before a judge before a determination can be made on whether it has merit.
Always been this way, just people are more prone to file silly BS these days.0 -

Depends on where you live. Colorado has a law against frivolous lawsuits. Essentially, if you're served with papers, and the lawsuit is groundless, you answer must state that the lawsuit is frivolous, and the judge is supposed to determine if the case has any merit or not. If the judge finds it does not and that it indeed is frivolous, the plaintiff is responsible for repaying all of the defense's costs.
When I was an insurance adjuster, we saw a very steep drop in the amount of silly lawsuits filed after that law was passed.0 -

I think I read something about that last week in the 20's in Chicago of all places. They called it an illegal militia and arrested the organizers. Case went to the Supreme Court with a 2nd amendment argument.0 -

Spanielsells you are correct, MOST (like 97%) of zero tolerance rules are some uptight bureaucrat taking his potty training way to seriously. Almost always a massive over reaction. It certainly removes any need for intelligent decision making which is probably its underlying purpose. 0 -
