Anyone heard of Danny Woodhead? Football topic
If not, he's the best player in NCAA Div. II football. His stats are as follows:
Most rushing yds in a game: 324yds
Average yds rushing per game: 212.0
Rushing yds this season: 2756yds (no that's not a typo)
Longest run this season: 88
Touchdowns this season: 34
Yards per rush: 8.0
He won the Harlon Hill award this year, the Div. II's Heisman. As a junior this season he broke the all division record for rushing yards in a season. Yes that includes all of the greats that have played running back. Am I saying he's better than any other tailback ever? Maybe. Now before I get all of the criticism, take a look at the stats. Numbers don't lie.
I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. Just thought I'd get Danny some more publicity. He's an amazing athlete that gets overlooked because he comes from a small school. (Undergraduate enrollment: 3,000) Danny led CSC to the Div. II quarterfinals, the farthest they've ever made it in school history.

I tend to think that, but that's also what they said about him at the univerisity of Nebraska too. But it'll be interesting to see if he tries to go on after next year.0 -

Umm...need to look at the size of other great running backs that are/were the best in the NFL. 90% are 5'10" and under.0
