Always wanted one...had a wife that had a '68 bug...I reworked that thing from dragging bumpers into a NASTY Bug! Sure miss the bug!

See if you can find a Manx SR-2...they were the coolest!

Closest i've had was a nice rail buggy, that i generally just pleasure rode with, and raced a little.

Had on back in the 70s. I think it only took 12 bolts to take the original body off.

We were out playing and got high centered. One of the guys with me, got out to push. Got off the rock, and heard someone screaming, looked back and saw him "under" the back tire. Punched the gas, and dumped the clutch. Don't know why he never went with us again. Doing that burnout on his chest only left a red mark for a while. He did have to get a new shirt, that one was pretty much toast.

There's on for sale up the road from me. Purple in color with off-road lights. And a stinger pipe sticking straight up in the rear. And it has that baja kit on it.

I had a 69 Beetle. Neatest little car I ever owned, and I got stupid one day and sold it. [:(] Actually over hauled the top and bottom of the engine in one afternoon on the side of the road. Not much different than working on a briggs and stratton lawn mower engine. Wish I had another, but price has really shot up on them lately, and I don't want to sell the Fury to buy a Bug! [:0]
