Chrysler Sold
What will that mean for all of the Chrysler cars that share Mercedes technology , will they have to end production of these cars?

Yeah, Remington is buying Chrysler. 0 -
They only sold 81% of their holdings. Article I read said quote:Daimler will continue to work with Chrysler on drive systems... Looks like a good deal to me. This should help Ford and Chevrolet as well, as Cerberus will not be scared to stand up to UAW concerning pensions, health care and labor costs. 0 -
Cerberus Capital is buying Chrysler actually. 0 -

Here's a link to the NBC story on it.0 -
Drive the company into bankruptcy and force the pensions and healthcare costs of the retirees onto the government would be my strategy. Then play hard ball with the UAW. It will be easier to do for Cerberus than Daimler.
This is going to get messy.0 -
I hope they still plan to produce the new retro Challenger for 2008![:(] 0 -

You see, we lease this back from the company we sold it to, and that way, it comes under the monthly current budget and not the capital account.0 -
Chrysler Corp customer service sucks anyways! 0 -
Cerberus is owned by GM
GM will kick the UAW's ass and drop the pensions then Chrysler will go the way of Daewoo ... and be absorbed into the collective.0 -

You sure about that? I know Cerberus bought a huge percentage of GMAC not too long ago, but I don't think GM owns Cerberus.
