To hire a few illegals to do some work around here for me!!!!!!!![:o)][:o)][:o)]

Actually I am going to pick me up a rollaway tool box for my storage building. Right now my tools are in cardboard boxes on the floor in there and I'm tired of haveing the dig through them if I need a tool for something.

Home depot has a small rollaway on sale for $60 that will suit my needs as I do not have alot of tools anymore and I really do not do much work that I plan on buying alot more tools (atleast in the near future).

Next prodject is going to be to build a decent work bench in there so I can start doing a little gun smith type work out there.[;)]

    Sounds like a plan. I just bought a Bucket Boss. My hand tools were just floating around a 5 gallon bucket anyway. Getting more organized. [;)]

    cool man, sounds like a good buy. I'm finally outgrowing my 3 drawer unit, but instead of upgrading, i'm gonna take out all the socket sets that I only use about once a year.[:)]

    Kevin, a couple of these would work well. One bench for reloading and another for working on your guns.


    Either that or, as I did, you can find a big, old, wooden desk and add some wall shelving. The drawers in my desk are nice for storage of powder and tools while the shelving is nice for storage of dies, literature, and bullet boxes. They are usually very heavy and very sturdy, and most are quite large.

    I went there too and bought a RIGID shop vac for $29.99 regularly $69.99, nice vac![:)] Also wanted a Dewalt drill(They had them for $99)but they were all scooped up before I could get my hands on one.[:(]

    I am back with the tool box.

    The first place I went was out of them (the guy said they sold out in under an hour) so I hot tailed it to another home depot and got the last one in stock.

    I have most of my tools in it allready but I will need to go and get some socket holders and wrench racks for it to totally organize it.

    But at least I got things started.[;)]

    I just wanted a small roll away. I really only have sockets, wrenches, screw drivers, pliers, and a few power tools. I do not do enuff work anymore to warrent investing alot of money into tools as they would only sit and collect dust.

    1979 - I need to sort the metric tools.

    1989 - Where the hell did I get all the metric tools.

    1999 - I'll just put all the metric tools in the bottom box

    2007 - One of these days I'm gonna sh*1can these pesky metric tools.

    i personally i dont like the socket holders.i placed all my sockets in a straight line on a piece of plywood from smallest to largest. draw a straight line on each side of the sockets. use a marker to mark the center of each socket.cut on the straight lines and drive a 4pd finishing nail on each dot you made with the marker. never have to worry about the socket holder comeing of the frame[:D]

    I'm sure you are not looking to take the box back, but Craftsman frequently has sales this time of year on their nice rolling tool boxes. I have 2. You can't beat them! On sale you can get their basic rolling lower and matching upper for around $100.

    I got three of those and I still don't have enough space for all my tools. One is filled to the max with carpentry tools, another with mechanic tools and the third one is filled with power tools.

    Wal-Mart had a nice Stanley roll-away toolbox on sale during their "black Friday" sales. $50. Got two of them...or actually my wife picked them up. I'm crazy, but not crazy enough to fight the crowd at Wally World at 5:00 AM!
