That is the whole point I am makeing!

The radio is perfectly legal for a Ham operator to use in its condition.

It is also legal for anyone to own it, you only need a licence to talk on it!

The extras that it had were a noise cancelling mike and an echo box which are 100% legal and can be bought at any CB shop!

Fleabay is out of hand with thinking they are doing the governments job!

Oh Yea! I might injure my frign mouth while talking to someone![xx(][;)][}:)][:D]

Point blank, fleabay is not a law enforcement agency, And just about anything listed on there can be used as a weapon or be used to break the law in some form or another!

Geez! All I wanted to buy was a dang radio that could in no way kill or injure anybody or anything!

How do you know e-bay cancelled the auction and not the seller? I have been thisclose to getting a pretty good deal on something, and suddenly the auction is pulled BY THE SELLER!

You could swing the thing around by the mike cord and bash someone's head in with it. I'm glad ebay is limiting the sale of these dangerous assault ham radios.

Can a Jewish person use a ham radio it being pork and all?

Ebay sent me the notice that they cancelled it due to not conforming to thier guidelines and such.

The e-mail was very clear that it was not the seller who canceled the auction. And there was a note in the item description that talked about the item being perfectly legal and that the auction on that item had been canceled before.

I have done alot of studying for my Ham licence and am getting ready to go test for it. This radio is 100% legal in every way and can be purchased at most any TA truck stop. I was just hopeing to save a few dollars by getting it on fleabay.

Yeah ebay got me going so as a protest I'm building a rifle (a 10/22) from their seller. All except the reciever which I'll be getting from Brownell's. I'd like to see what kind of people are on there reading and weeding out the gear that people are offing. I should also go on there to complain about things I take offence to[:D].

That really does stink! I gave up on them when sellers started doing that crap because their "stuff" wasn't bringing what they wanted. Hey, it's a freaking AUCTION! Put it up and see what happens. I used to sell a few things on there, and got burned a time or two with stuff bringing less than I wanted. Just the cost of doing business.
