got a scope today...
finally got a scope for my 17HM2. I didnt want to spend a whole lots, but i got this scope for $70.00. didnt seem too bad. its a Barska 3-12x50 Illuminated crosshair scope. here it is....

well, during the daylight, they are useless. but during night, they are awesome. also since this isnt an ajustable objective, when you light the crosshairs up, the ceosshairs dont "dissapear" when focusing on an object0 -
You'll love it. I have the exact same scope on my 17HMR. I was so impressed by it that I just ordered their 6.5-20x50 for my 223.
Plaid: the IR scopes are really nice when it's dark. I went coyote hunging a while back under a full moon. You could see everything through the scope, but the crosshairs aren't that visible. Turn a couple clicks on the scope and it's bright red.
Here's the gun, no the crosshairs aren't crooked.0 -
