Need some ammo
I have a 8mm Mauser and need some more ammo for it. A while back I got some ammo I like and should have bought a LOT more but didnt for some dumb reason.
The ammo came on 5rd strippers with 70rds per blue bandoleer. The ammo is FMJ and had a silverish colored tip.
At the time it was $4/bandoleer and I should have bought few thousand rounds but I am sure it is now $40/bandoleer [B)]. I am looking for about 500rds so any help would be great.

Yea, join the club. I was buying Lake City 5.56 for $27/100 and only bought 500 rounds. Now I can't even find it. I kick myself every morning for not getting it while the getting was good. I was warned but too cheap to buy more. 0 -
I have lots of ammo for the common stuff I shoot. I was thinking the few hundred rounds of this stuff I got would be enough. I spent a lot of my gun money on cases of ammo last year just as it was starting to go up. I got several cases of 7.62x39 for $90/1000 shipped. .40 for $150/1000 and .45 for $175/1000 (not wolf), ect. If only I had 10x as much to spend. 0 -
The stuff on blue bandoleers was Turkish ammo from either the 40s or 50s. Unfortunatly, I haven't seen it offered at any retailers lately. Your best bet would be to check out some gun shows; there might be someone holding on to a stash of it. 0 -
