After those last two posts, I can hear the cowboys whimpering now! If you are in Texas, LOCK UP YOUR HEIFERS!

And heck matty, a TROLL because I don't agree with you or don't drink the Cowboy kool-aid? PLEASE!

quote:mathmatically the most succesful team in the NFL

There is another Cowboy kool-aid drinker! Most successful team in the NFL? Nope! That would be the Chicago Bears with a grand total of 670 victories. You wanna argue that they have been around longer than the Boys and have had more games? OK. Try that. The Boys still aren't tops in win percentage. Guess who that would be?? Try the moribound Miami Dolphins! [:o)]

I still say it is almost a criminal act to have done what Jerry and his sons have done getting that new stadium built. But that's OK. You Boy fans need a new "church" and the owner needs to buy pants with bigger pockets to haul in all the cash he is making.

    Proof cousins marry...

I think calling the Titans a football team is a criminal act.

    Now there's a guy who knows football!!!!!!!!![:X][:X][:X][:X]

    EDIT: Here'ya go, mateo. Read'em and weep!!![:D]

What NFL team has the best winning percentage for its entire history regular season and post season included?

    Answer
As of the start of the 2007 season, that distinction would go to the Miami Dolphins who had an overall record of 388-271-4 for a winning percentage of .588. Second is the Chicago Bears who had an overall record of 686-499-42 for a winning percentage of .576 and third is the Dallas Cowboys with an overall record of 433-322-6 for a winning percentage of .573.

I am not the Cowboy fan that made the erroneous claim. Nor do I know all the fancy stats and percentages.

I do know this for sure. I go watch the Cowboys play, and when I am sitting there I look up and see five Superbowl championship banners.

Fact is, anybody who argues that Dallas is not one of the legendary great pro franchises in any sport is nothing more than a court jester...

    GO COWBOYS!!!

    mateo,
They don't call the 'Boys America's team for nothing.

Being born and raised in Miami and attending Fins games w/my Dad during the "glory days", made me a die-hard Fins fan.

But, the Boys are my second fav. team.

BTW, I attended the Boys/Steelers SB at the Orange Bowl.
The OB was notorious for being able to sneak into.

I also attended the filming of the movie Black Sunday.
They needed volunteers to be in the crowd scenes. That was cool.
I would skip school to attend the filming.

Wow! Would I love to go to a Superbowl! But us "little people" can't afford to go!

Csonka was the man, so was Manny Fernandez...

I AGREE! Lordy mercy, I DO AGREE! They are a great franchise. I have never said they weren't! But their owner is an unqualified butt-hole. And I love seeing Boy fans get upset when you remind them, or point out to them, that they haven't done a dang thing in many years now. This year, who knows? If their qb can handle snaps on a field goal, they MIGHT win something. [:o)] I love watching Romo play, and Barber run. But the way I feel for the owner, I can't root for them anymore. And as always, in our day and age, it's all about "what have you done for me lately." With the Boys, that ain't much. [;)]

the cowboys owner was just listed in the top 3 of richest sports team owners. the gall those people have to demand tax payer money to build themselves new stadiums.
although there is a very good fiscal argument to be made that the teams and stadiums generate alot of tax revenue for their areas i say...so what!?! I am a believer in free market and NOT the government TAKING your money to give you back a SMALL portion of it. also, i dont want the government getting MORE tax dollars to spend on welfare, pet pork projects and other useless wastefull expenditures.
if billionares want a new stadium they should have to pay for it themselves like the rest of us do.

Not true, they won the 2007 NFC Eastern Championship last Sunday. They've won 5 Superbowls. They've set an NFL record for number of playoff games by any team. They own the beast record in the NFC right now. Wow, to dis the Cowboys show a total ignorance of NFL history, so you use the what have they won lately thing, and guess what, even that won't float as of last Sunday. Ever heard of peeing in the wind?[}:)]

    What have the Titans won?[^]

Dang...just proved another theory. I had always wondered if Boy fans could even read. Now I guess not! [:D] I never said they didn't have a great past. Even wrote that in one of the posts above. But what I said still holds true...What have they won lately? Nothing. Not a playoff victory in years! In that vein, they are no better than the Cleveland Browns or [GASP] the Titans. Once again, when and IF they win this year's SP, ya'll can crow all you want, deservedly so. But living in the past is all a bunch of baloney. Yep, they look good now, but they looked pretty good last year too. Remember that?

I AGREE! All that does is give you the privilege of playing for the ultimate win in the SP. If all that mattered was the regular season, why even bother playing the games? You either win the Big Game, or go home a loser with 31 other teams.
