Any Whisper fans here?
Hi all, it's been awhile!
I've been shooting up the countryside with my .223AI Contender and trying to get things back on track after the deaths of 2 very close relatives, figured a new project might assist me in that area.
So, does anyone here shoot the Whisper(s)? I'm trying to decide between the .300 and the .338, for starters.
I know there is a veritable wealth of info on the Whisper family but would much prefer first-hand accouunts from people I trust/respect!
For what it's worth I'm looking at using the shortest practical barrel (on the Contender frame), will most likely be suppressed (eventually)
Let 'er rip, I need all you have to share[:)]

The .300 is the most popular of the Whisper cartridges. Everyone I know that has built one is totally in love with it. It is very accurate, easy to load, and works well out of short barrels. 0 -
I have to go with what MK 19 said. I know a guy that has a .300 suppressed on a AR platform. I have not seen it but he sounds happy with it. I want to build one too sometime. I have another suppressed gun I am working on now though. Maybe next year. 0
