You see, I've been thing about this one for a while. Had a near miss with one just last week. Near as I see it, zombies are afraid of the light. Except for the UK variant, they mainly come out at night in the United States. My theory is they aren't afraid of a red light. (Hey, it works with coyotes.) It's experimental, but somebody has to figure these things out. I figure you need the scope. You don't want to wait until they're too close. The last thing you want to do is burn 30 rounds on one at 40 feet when there are 100 more at 500 yards!0 -

The most popular seem to be the 45 and the 12 gauge. Don't know that I've ever seen a b52 wipe out zombies, but then I only occasionally watch zombie movies.
In my house it would have to be 9mm and/or 12 guage and a cell phone - to call Beeramid for backup and to handle the longer-range zombies.0 -

Something that we have been discussing lately at work is how long zombies' bodies will continue to sustain themselves without feeding. I figure the longer they go, they will continue to decompose and eventually cease to function. So if you can eliminate new victims maybe the problem will eventually subside. That being said my personal zombie battery is a SIG P220, an M4 and 12ga 870. [:)] 0 -

anatomically speaking, they would have to use up their fat supply to completely expire. However, after using up their glucose and glycogen they will slow down significantly. (think of yourself on a long run, the first 1/2 mile to a mile you are burning blucose and glycogen; after that you start 'gluconeogenesis', making glucose form fat and protein; this takes more time and you really feel like you hit a wall unless you've been training for a while)0 -
