Way outta my league, and I just don't like autos regardless of legality.

I kinda doubt a Makora is 7 times tougher or sharper than a $50 Cold Steel Voyager, which is my choice. I put a little hookie-thingie on the back of the blade (think Emerson wave) and it comes out of the pocket open and ready to use, probably faster than an auto.

Microtechs definitely have name recognition as a top choice, and of course being featured on the series "24" didn't hurt. If I had the bucks and it was legal I'd have one in my collection, whether or not I ever actually carried it. What the heck, buy two!

One of the big things is in my line of work Fire/EMS being able to open and close a knife one handed is very handy. I have a Leatherman that is really cool, but I never use it because it is a pain. I do keep it in my wildland fire gear just for the extra tools, but not so much for the knife. My main use for knifes is as utility tools and not so much as weapons even though it will do that too. Just FYI Fire/EMS/Rescue are allowed to have them.
