New guns (pics)
Well here is a Colt SP1 that I have been working on getting for a few weeks now. It showed up yesterday so I have not got a chance to shoot it yet. It makes a very nice addition to my collection of AR's

Last year when they were talking about the Sig 556 coming out I was very excited and wanted one. Well then they came out with something that was close, but not the same as what they were advertising. I, like many others, was very disappointed with the finished product. Well then the on Saturday I stopped by the local gun shop and he had something I could not resist.... The 556 "SWAT" model.

I am not sure who makes the flash light but it is marked Sig on it. The front hand grip with a trigger for the flash light is a cool idea. I am not a fan of "pistol grips" on the front, they are uncomfortable for me to hold on to so I put on a standard type grip.

I have not got a chance to shot this one yet either but I am hoping to sometime this weekend.
Now here comes the real question. What is this nub on the side of the hand guards? It is only on the right side and there are no other holes to put it anywhere else. There are no directions on the hand guards and I am not sure who makes them as they are marked Sig as well. Any ideas? It is the grey part sticking out the side.

Very nice, once again![:p]
I have no idea on the right hand projection, unless some proprietary cover mount, or, nevermind,......I don't know![:D]
Hope you have lots of insurance, with the collection you have!0 -
It is to hang your hat on, after a long day of shooting.[:D] Just kidding. You could contact Sig and ask them. 0 -
Ew, ew, ew, it's a.....

You lucky dog! Those are some NICE guns! 0 -
Thanks for the nice comments.
The stickey outty thingy is the catch for the factory SIG 55x folders. I do not believe the factory side folders fit on this gun. I will be trying to find out. If not I will be putting a side folding ACE stock on it.0 -
Nice!
I especially want to get a SP1. I'm an old school type of guy!
I can do without all the tactical stuff.0 -

I am too for the most part. I got this gun for a steal or I would not have gotten it.
I am sorry to see you missed out on the Sporter I had up. It went pretty cheep, but I will survive.0
