Colt 45
I just saw a movie about the Gilbert Toy Co. The Co. that invented the erector set. George from Sienfeld was the main character.The movie was about the home front during world war one.In one scene it was discussed that the Gilbert Co. had been offered a contract by Colt to produce 45`s for the war effort.Did anyone else see the movie? Did the Gilbert Co. make any 45`s. If so are they marked Gilbert?
