Just curious how everyone came to find this site. Me, I believe I got here from an informational site, http://world.guns.ru. They had this link at the bottom of their page:

Back in our early computer days, my wife found this site for me, that was 1998 or '99. I looked around a lot and bought a little. Never got on the forums till '03, never knew even WTH a forum was. 0 -

"Ask the Experts" brought me here - I was doing a Google search for the reliability of a bunch of different firearms when I first started shooting and got hooked on what I read here.

I Googled to find an auction because I had a few guns and some ammo that needed to be sold. I stayed here because for the most part the members seem to be mature and a cut above what is on the other gun forums. GB seems to have a minimum of SHTF postings and the "versus" postings. Also fewer "pouncers" jumping on newbies for honest mistakes. If you surf around I think you'll find that we have it pretty good here. 0 -
I was searching for info on hunting elk with BP and stumbled into that section of the forum. I was then drawn to GD like a moth to a flame...been getting burned ever since.[;)] 0 -

I remember a guy telling me he was an FFL and when i took the course to carry a firearm for security work I called him. He e-mailed me 2 auctions he recommended from GB and said he would do the transfer for $15. 0
