? about spring in N. Nevada

Does anybody know which week of the year would be carry the best chance of seeing the spring flush in N. Nevada?

I'm planning a trip to the Virgin Valley (near Denio) which is about 30 miles S. of the Oregon line and about 190 miles north of Reno.

I'm thinking the last week in May might be a good bet but I've had a hard time finding information.

  Don't know what a "spring flush" is, but I'd call Nevada Fish & Wildlife in Carson City.

  I spend about a week around Memorial Day in that area every year. The weather is very unpredictable! Some years the temperature can be in the mid 90's during the day. The past 3 years I've experienced sunshine, rain, hail and snow - all during the same day. The nights can get very cool!
  
  Last year there was quite a bit of snow still in sections of the hiway between Denio and Lakeview, so most of the backroads were still snowed in.
  
  Be careful when travelling the backroads when they're wet, the mud will stick to the treads of your tires and you can be spinning your wheels in less than an inch of mud! I've had to pull my share of "rookies" stuck in just a couple of inches of mud - the mud is sort of like "marine bearing grease".

  For those who asked: yes, spring flush is the best time to find wildflowers (I think the flush actually refers to the greenery, but whatever).
  
  I guess I can see how a royal flush might top a spring flush in many people's rule books.[:D][:D]
