Would a gun sock be OK to give away? I have a box of .17HMR i could give away, but not sure it's legal to mail ammo.... Is it?

Take my word for scrap the ammo idea. And some of my guns still have cold feet. I vote "Sock it to me baby"...

Ammo has to be shipped via common carrier, never in the US Mail.
