GB movie rating scale

there apears to be a few on the board right now, how about we start a standard review rating?

5 [:D], as in [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D] is the absolute top rating that can be given

[:)], is a half rating, as in [:D][:D][:D][:)] would be a 3 1/2

    There should be degrees of lousyness as well.

    [xx(][xx(][xx(][xx(][xx(] for full lousyness.

    Partial lousyness with a [:(]

    so a kind of bad movie would get a [xx(][xx(][:(]

    and why did I waste my money? -[:(!]

    What was your Hippo's opinion of the film? Does he eat a lot of popcorn at the theater or do you feed him before you guys head over to see the show?

    I'm allowed to bring his popcorn; theater doesn't carry enough. We sit in the handy-capped seats if they aren't taken, well he does anyways. The bag of corn sits next to him. Overall, we felt Smith did a good job in the movie. Neither of us has read the book, so we based our opinion strictly off the movie. The infected? Weak. Had they went for an "R" rating and stuck to what I've read about the book, then it would've been a lot better. I did watch a little of the "Last Man on Earth" last night. It's available for free online. "Legend" was a decent movie, but not great. Smith's acting was good, and so was the dog's. The hippo liked the dog.

    1. Worth paying to see it at the theater.
    2. Wait for it to come out on DVD.
    3. Save your money. It sucked!
