On the Genital Diseaes discussion someone mentined CLAMIDIA. Over 20 yrs ago a connection between MS and Clamidia was suggested. Late last yr/early this yr. the powers that be, decided to finnally do an indicator study. For those that may not know an indicator study is when a connection is made between an sickness and a cause. 26 people are chosen for the test. These 26 are tested and cured of all other problems and then become ginenypigs. This is how the Hilobacteria was found to be the cause of a certain type of ulsers. Researchers cured the bacteria and the study began only the ulsers had gone away.
During the Clamidia testing it was found that all 26 members had Clamdia markers in their spinnal fluid. That is the latest I have heard. During the past 20 yrs. I have had 6 friends die from MS and not one of their doctors would do any testing to check for Clmidia. I now have 2 friends with MS. these friends gave the indicator study info to their doctors, which ignore the information. Do you have friends with MS?

    Yes, i have MS, and have never heard of this "climidia". Recently had about every kind of test they can think of ran, and will ask my neuro about this on my next visit.

    spryor, I may have spelled it wrong. But, I think Clamidia is the correct spelling. If not your doctor should know the correct spelling. I believe it is a bacteria. Years ago on the Canadian Broadcast Corporation's radio station, the reasercher being interviewed said that depending on where it is in the body it causes different problems.

    My father died with ALS (Lou Gerigs disease) which is very similar to MS...

    Yes, I have a friend who has MS. And, she contracted it when she was very young. I'll guarantee she didn't get it from the clap.

    Clamidia is not the clap. Gonorhea is the clap. Spelling may be wrong, info is not.
