Anyone try the new Kel Tec single stack 9mm?
http://www.kel-tec.com/pf9.html
I've been considering a new gun for pocket carry, and this one looks pretty good, considering its light weight, capacity, power, and low cost.
Anyone have any experience with it?
I've tried the P-11, but that one seems too bulky for good pocket carry.

Too large. It is longer and wider than my Kahr PM-9 0 -
...Im was considering their .380...I was impressed with the size (weight) of the gun...but Im so used to carrying so much more firepower; probably only a "mental" thing there though, maybe the nine would help with that.
...I got good "replies" about the 380 when asked about it on here. The Kel-Tec's Ive shot, were fine too, no problems. I think you just need to get used to the short barrel and very small frame size...[;)]

Anyone I've asked in a gun store about the PF9 really doesn't have much to say about it. One place said they sold a few but have not (yet?) heard back anything negative. If it were me, I'd probably wait a few months just to be sure. Or, go up to the Kel-Tec on-line users group and see what, if anything, has been posted to date. 0 -
This is from a forum about them. There have been some problems with the first few versions, but all that has been worked out. But I would not buy one below serial number R0G00. These are the new E models with all the updated parts to work the bugs out.
:The last two digits represent the numbers 0 to 99 and will always be numbers. To avoid confusion with the numbers one and zero, the letters "I" and "O" are not used. The system starts with the numbers 1-999 and then uses a number and 24 letters before starting again with the next number.
